“I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful catalyst for meaningful change. The art of listening and the experience of being truly heard can be incredibly transformative”
I am a BACP registered counsellor with a private practice based in London Bridge/ Southwark, SE1, and I also see clients online.
I work with clients facing a diverse range of issues, some of which are listed in the ‘How I work’ section of this website, but my overall therapy approach is relational and analytical. I am attempting to tune in to what it is really like for you to be in your world.
I worked as an honorary counsellor for the busy Psychosynthesis Trust in central London, offering essential therapy to diverse communities of individuals. I recently served as a counsellor at a fertility clinic, where I provided support counselling to clients navigating various infertility treatments, including IVF and IUI.
I privately also offer informed counselling to individuals experiencing and facing miscarriages, child loss, and childlessness, supporting them through their challenging journey to parenthood or exploring and guiding them through their personal decision to consciously end their infertility treatment.

Professional Training / Experience
Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling. BACP and UKCP Accredited
Foundation Course for Fertility Counselling, CPCAB Accredited, BICA
Graduate Diploma in Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling, Goldsmiths University
BSc (Hons) Psychology, BPS accredited, Roehampton University.
Although I use various methods and theories in my work reflective of my educational past, I chose Psychosynthesis as my core professional training because I believe that it holistically encompasses all parameters of human experience - mind, feelings, body, and soul. It helps individuals achieve a state of greater awareness, self-understanding, and a connection to something larger than themselves, potentially leading to personal transformation.
In recent years, I have worked closely with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, personal traumas and suicidal thoughts. Throughout this journey, I witnessed the way in which the power of empathy, connection, and personalised support can help individuals take back control of their stories and discover hope and a path forward despite their struggles.
I am regularly engaging in professional development courses and attending regular individual and peer supervision groups, which contribute to the depth and breadth of my clinical work, allowing for deeper reflections and rich creativity. This ensures my practice remains at the forefront of current knowledge in counselling.
As a long-standing infertility advocate, I developed a special interest in how infertility treatments and outcomes psychologically impact women and men. To enhance my current practices and align with this focus, I further completed a BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association) Foundation Course for Fertility Counselling, CPCAB Accredited.
My previous work encompasses 30 years in the community care sector, executive management and charity governance. This is reflective of my skill base in supporting, guiding and safeguarding individuals through different stages of their developmental and self-establishing journey towards more fulfilling life experiences. I was always drawn to people and their stories, and intuitively supported them to recognise their meaningful, authentic selves.
